Research stay in Paris

Tamara Bjažić Klarin, Lidija Butković Mićin and Mejrema Zatrić Šahović, research team members of the ERC project Housing.Yu – “The Right to Housing: The Production of Space for Everyday Life in Yugoslavia (1945–1991)”, stayed in Paris from 7 to 12 June 2026.

They conducted research in the libraries of the Bibliotèque d’architecture contemporaine Jean-Louis Cohen Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine, the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the Bibliothèque du musée des Arts decoratifs, the Bibliothèque et les Archives de l’UNESCO, the Bibliothèque Poëte et Sellier (Université Paris-Est-Créteil-Val-de-Marne), and in the collections of Le Centre d’archives d’architecture contemporaine and Archives départementales du Val-de-Marne.

They held a meeting and agreed on cooperation with the curator of architecture at the Centre Pompidou, Stéphanie Quantin-Biancalani.

During the stay, they visited the exhibition Une journée au VIIIe siècle, chronique d'un hôtel particulier and the permanent exhibition of the Musée des Arts Décoratif, and visited several realizations of residential buildings by Le Corbusier and Ricard Boffil.
