This book is the result of the work on the project “Dubrovnik: Civitas et Acta Consiliorum. Visualising Development of the Late Medieval Urban Fabric”, which was carried out at the Institute of Art History, Zagreb, Croatia (2014-2017), and was supported by the Croatian Science Foundation. Anacademic conference that was organised towards the end of the project aimed to discuss the methodology of the research on urban history and form as well as the methodology of the presentation of results. Therefore, these collected papers comprise precisely the scientific works which are broad in scope, and which critically reflect on the methodology of the work and its presentation.
