The result of the Architectural Unit activities is the Architectual Plans, Drawings and Records Collections, which hold over 10000 architectural plans and maps of historical cores of cities and settlements, as well as individual sacral and profane buildings which are mainly microfilmed and included in the central architectural documentation database at the Directorate for Historical and Natural Heritage protection of the Ministry of Culture. The complete digitization of this collection is in process. Architectual Plans, Drawings and Records Collections is used by researchers for further research, as well as for conservation purposes, e.g. it has been a very valuable source for the reconstruction/restoration of urban settlements and individual monuments damaged during the war.

The Stjepan Planić Archives, registrated as national cultural heritage, consists of drawings, plans and architectural designs made by Stjepan Planić from 1928 until 1980, specifically over 750 plans of villas, family houses, residential buildings, office buildings, interiors and public buildings.
